In this Inventor Tutorial we will describe how to build the model ‘Engine MKII’ assembly file. It is an Assembly modeling tutorial, it will cover the following topics.

  • Use the Assembly commands such as, Place Component, Constrain, Pattern Component, Free Rotate tools etc.
  • 38 Parts will be inserted with the help of ‘Place Component’ tool.
  • Use the Mate/Flush constrain and Angle mate between the two components with the help of ‘Constrain’ tool.
  • Copy the one or more components by using the ‘Pattern Component’ command.
  • Check the interference between the two components by using ‘Analyze Interference’ tool.
  • Make a View Representation to view the internal components of engine easily.
  • Drive the internal components of Engine by using the ‘Drive Constraint’ command.
